Thematic Painting Reflection (12-D): April 20, 2012
1. Evaluate: i think the good or strong parts of my painting are the detail that i add to it and the color mixing.
2. Evaluate: the parts i could work on is the fading, it didnt go together as well as i wanted to.
3. Describe: my paintings theme is nature and kinda emotion. i choose this theme because i wanted to challenge my skills and just do something that kinda screamed me.
4. Describe: i added as much detail as i could on the foreground and made the colors in the foreground more bright and bold. i did this so the main parts would really stand out.
5. Describe: the point of emphasis on my painting is the flaming bold phoenix taking off. i got it to do this using very bold color.
6. Metacognate: i learned that persistance and detremination can lead to very nice detail to make the painting very strong.
Exceeding:
7. Evaluate: i did what i always do by doing the foreground first so i had some problems but it lead to very nice detail. it was both a premliminary design and i just did it.
8. i believe that this project was worth while, i think that a bigger canvas would be nice, otherwise but have a little more time because i ran out of time to do another one.
